Front man of Golden Earring passed away at the age 77

George Kooymans passed away quietly yesterday from complications of ALS. Golden Earring is a Dutch band that was formed in 1961 under the name “The Hague” when George was just 13 years old. The band achieved international fame but, were superstars at home with 30 top 10 singles on the Dutch charts.
