The Power Ballad also know as the “Girlfriend Track” was and is the driving force behind massive album sales and MTV video airplay. The songs that were the soundtracks to our break-ups and reunions and later our wedding songs left massive craters in the music landscape and Ultimate Classic Rock has a list of the ones they think are top 50 here.
