Keith Richards turned 80 on Monday.

Connecticut was admitted to the Union in 1788 2 years before Keith Richards was born. Recently, The Stones guitarist was honored by the state of Connecticut for his contributions by being the first recipient of the Connecticut Governor’s Award of Excellence. He has been a resident there since 1985. You can read more about it here.
